This is an original song about a one night stand gone wrong. It’s about a woman who just
escaped from a horrible relationship, but doesn’t realize she did the same thing and this guy she
slept with on a rebound has just moved into her place. It’s about getting him out of the house
and hoping he never comes back! This song was created when I first moved to Madison
and was living in a poor community apartment building. My upstairs neighbor, Gale Nelson,
brought me the words to a song he wrote and told me to change how I saw fit. It became an
outlet for me and also became Best Blues Song of the Year in 2018 in Madison, WI through
the Madison Area Music Association.
